I've made a walkthrough for this mission giving explanations of goals, events as well as translations of keys objects etc, so hopefully I have included enough for most players to enjoy this exceptionally good mission. Responding to Serioustoni, I had a month to create anything related to Roman culture or Latin language of reasonable effort. I’ve tried and failed to dromed before, so I took this as an opportunity to actually dromed. The layout is based on real ancient Roman designs, which is the main link.
I suppose it's because the two readables are in Latin (thankfully with translations included).
I really want to know more about the creation of this mission. I mean, how do you come up with the intention of creating a thief fan mission while you have a Latin class? Does the gameplay or story actually resemble Latin history or language, or what was the point? I don't wanna downplay it - I just can't grasp the connection.
In addition to the above recommendations, also interesting puzzle missions (or at least partly): King Abedzen's Tomb; Secrets of the Old City; In These Enlightened Times
I see you already played the likes of Beneath the Sands/Whispers in the Desert, Temple of the Tides, Forgotten Tomb and so on
Also one big environment puzzle of a classic mission of an entirely different kind: Thief: Brainchild
