The Siege Shop,
Into the deep of mountain thieves fortress:
You are the thief hired to infiltrate into the former builders/now thieves fortress somewhere in the mountains and steal some blueprints of new weapons and at the same time you are to find out what's happened to your "colleague" here. And here begins your journey during stormy night.
While the scenario is relatively thin, this mission proposes quite a variety of locations: valleys, mountain caves, mines, and partly underground - partly upground fortress. Heck, you can even fly on balloon (...,

Avoiding Mistrust,
Solid Bafford-like TDS sneaker:
Today "Avoiding Mistrust" (from DarkDragon) feels like far cry from the past, when modding for Thief: Deadly Shadows still existed, and Dark Mod had not yet fully outplayed unlucky third game as modding platform.
In this mission Garrett infiltrates into the mansion of City Watch captain with the main intention (aside from usual redistribution activities) to gather some information about what captain (and his allies from aristocracy) plans to do with criminals in the City. And plot complic...,

Gems of Provenance Campaign,
One of the best fan mission series ever made:
Funny thing, I also recalled Hexen and Doom recently as close associations to Gems of Provenance: non-linear, tangled and sometimes mazelike interconnected levels, lots of secrets (some of which are well-hidden), more or less thin story (almost absense of long readables and dialogs, the story is almost non-existent in those games and very slight in Gems), general preference of ambiance and strong environmental storytelling... In general I most like first and last levels (and also Heart and So...,

Now and Then,
Review - Now and Then:
Agree. I'm playing now Skulduggery series, and Now and Then feels like some kind of spin-off (albeit more stylistically - in terms of similar system of optional objectives, and from texturing/assets point) to them - even despite it was created by other author.,

Now and Then,
Bigger and more complicated that it seems at first look:
When I started "Now and Then", I thought it would be small city/museum mission. Our hero goes to the local museum trying to steal the famous painting "Now and Then" which depicts painter in her different ages - when she was young and when she was mature and adult. But things are getting more and more complicated as plot thickens - including some travelling between times (!).
It also can be said about mission layout as well. Seemingly small and empty at first sight, "Now and Then" surprisi...,

The Library,
An early classic:
I like other missions of Kung Fu Gecko (Bloodstone prison and Embracing the enemy) that he made after this one, but Library was mixed bag for me since it has hazardous combination of a) quite complicated layout which looks samey and - a bit - uninspired and b) very steep loot objective. Thankfully it was short, but his other missions are much better than this one. Though it is justified for me that it was one of the first exercises in making missions - both for author (it was his debut) and...,

Lingering Whispers,
Didn't enjoy it:
Good mechanists/undead horror mission. Even quite original. For me two biggest issues with this mission were: 1) too obscure and complicated objectives with vault and Amulet (ok, the last one is optional on lower difficulties) and 2) loot objective (loot is too scattered around the level - and it is major flaw of mission).,

I doubt there is any cyberpunk-style missions. Only maybe some futuristic FMs like Sliptip's Kill Factory series (especially, Escape From the Planet of the Robots), or Spoonman's TSR-1000. Three Distinct Adventures by Cardia. Also, maybe, GORT's Rebellion of the Builder (hard, as I've heard).,

Valky, I don't know much about Deus Ex style exactly (how it could be done in Thief) but colored lighting was implemented in Thief 2 and is in the lots of FMs for T2. Maybe I misunderstood you. As for stylistic similarities - I honestly don't know much. i've said about train mission in T2X and Konrad told you about Patriot (it's a hard campaign as I heard).
And - if you want to experience some stylistic or plot parallels between DX and Thief in Thief fan-missions (though it is really une...,

The Unbidden Guest,
Life of the Party 0.25x:
While some people may consider Unbidden Guest as inferior to Melan's much bigger cityscape endeavors (Penny Dreadful 3, Rose Garden, Bad Debts and Disorientation), I think it is really underappreciated gem. Our task is simple: sabotage several mechanists' funny-looking robots and - in addition - steal some old Hammerite sacred book.
The mission feels like Life of the Party-like rooftop exploration but with much darker mood (and at the same time feels comfy and menacing) and unlike LotP it...,

If my memory doesn't fail me, it was the first (or among the first) fan-missions I've played (and the first actually completed). It is short (5 min iirc my playing time 8 years ago) Lost City tombs+Undead adventure. While being small, it also has some interesting things - mostly it is that scroll-you-should-never-read. Overall, nothing special (3-5 min!), but quite fun servicable old lost civilization romp. Maybe it really doesn't deserve 7 of 10, but I have such a warm feelings towards this ...,

I think that Purah's later missions are more advanced in almost all aspects - Calendra's Cistern in particular feels like Lampfire Hills Enhanced, but still I like Lampfire for being paradoxically both grim and cozy (even despite at same time being boxy and simplistic). Also I like how - sometimes imaginatively - this mission uses such limited space and features some vertical action.,
