Rose Garden,
Dangerous Conditions: Suboptimal Wine Party:
A spectacular three-dimensional maze with scores of interconnecting ducts, paths and (sewer) channels that at times conjures that special magic of world-building ambiente of the very best and in terms of richness of content and visual elements even further improves on the exploratory pleasures of Disorientation. Feels much bigger than it actually is, also through clever use of paths that are closed but then open as the gameplay progresses . Downsides? Yes it can be difficult in wrong ways at...,

Bad Blood,
Trains!:
A mission with a fairly solid story concept - although the idea w Garrett being framed comes up many times in many missions from around that era and onwards, as are murder mysteries - here the sprawling mansions in which such stories are usually taking place are replaced by some exteriors/the anatagonists' business premises (and you will choke on what business that is, in the world of Thief), but it falls flat on a very naive design compounded by illogically designed shortcuts, illogical acce...,

T2X: Shadows of the Metal Age,
Ambitious but disappointing:
My biggest gripes with T2X would be the strangely unrealistic/cartoonish environments (much worse than in the original games and somewhat close to T3, maybe due to the styles of textures used), poor to extremely poor voice acting except the main protagonist and some questionable and frankly weird game design choices - eg any sane person would (supposedly) know that using a sledgehammer, aka skull cracker, for whacking people would most likely put them to eternal instead of temporary sleep, n...,

Into The Odd,
Incomparable Quality and Originality:
Well, this mission shares heavy structural similarities to Midnight in Murkbell. But also, with that said, it has its own aesthetic somewhere between WesAndersonian and surreal and very medieval horror, and visually the original Thief squared with lots of playfulness around the very baroque and the sense for very rich detail (lots of miniature worlds and playful gadgets on display here!), with a dash of British punk anarchism, and with that all it stakes a very own, bona fide claim in the or...,

The Chalice of Souls,
Very good but unfulfilling:
This is no doubt a top quality FM pack overall that nevertheless suffers from a certain unevenness - the first act is as good (or nearly) as any (mostly) vertical city mission gets, but the problems start in the second act: the brothel is beautifully made w breathtaking visuals but suffers (to my liking) from exceedingly difficult gameplay, at least as far as you want to keep any level of stealth - lots of klanky surfaces and darn flickering lights plus lots of walkers EVERYWHERE, vast spac...,

The mummies and their hisses in ?Ancient Coptic/Egyptian/Proto-Semitic-? are of course one of the great assets of this mission (aside all the others).,

Vagabond,
Among the smaller gems:
A nicely made smaller city streets&interiors/lair mission with near professional production qualities that is not too big or difficult, has very lovable environments and architecture and above all, offers for the most part a playstyle that goes slightly against the grain of what one would typically expect of thief with cleverly incorporated adventure and rpg elements - although it ends in a rather typical (but also top quality) heist that slightly distances you from the character by having ...,

City burglary with a twist:
A seemingly underwhelming small-time city burglary at first (but with signs of finesse) that goes boom! dramatic in the end (not too much to disclose but scripted events are in the offing). Suggests that a follow-up might be expectable.,

Cathedral of St Vincent,
A two-part city/Cathedral surprise:
The first part w city streets and some interiors is relatively unimpressive in terms of layout and architecture (flat plain buildings, relatively crude and empty environments, so-so voice acting) although gameplay is okish (a murder plot that sees you incriminated, and then you take revenge on the perpetrators (a band of thugs that run the local hotel establishment) by going after their heist plan) and would grant slightly above average ratings at best BUT THEN you come to the second part a...,
