Full disclosure, it's been a good long while since I've played this mission. Needless to say, I liked it.
However, I just wanted to specifically compliment the author for the textures. I'm the kind of person who really just can't stand the texture quality of Thief—blame my young gamer brain—and so I very regularly make use of Necroage, the HD...

Precarious Business is a relatively average mission on paper. I'd even say, it's probably an average mission for most players. Still... It somehow captures something very unique - at least in my book. The empty streets, the few comfy apartments you can visit, the small mansion, the completely optional crypt section. The way it flows has a magic....

I'll start with the positives.
1: Simple objectives, good for those who want a quick gameplay experience
2: Not hard for those who don't like challenges
3: Not to bad looking
For the negatives, I'll try to go easy on you for 3 things, which is the fact that I can't make good fan missions, and that, (as far as I know) this is your first mis...

Taka świetna gra i tak mało komentarzy?
Jedna z najlepszych FMek, z jakimi miałem styczność. Właściwie każdy jej element powinien dostać maksymalną ocenę. Mamy tu zarówno graficznie wypieszczone wnętrza, pełne nowych modeli, grafik i dźwięków (ambient!). Świetną i autentycznie wzruszającą fabułę. Ciekawe i trudne zadania...

The setup of Prezent is very simple yet effective: Garrett recieves mysterious offer for a job in small snowy town. But soon after arrival he was robbed and beaten to unconscious state by "dear colleagues" from local thieves' gang. He wakes up in town's tavern and have several tasks including gathering additional information about job from his m...

Equilibrium is a mission which I think has a certain degree of prestige within the community, so much so that I had no idea it was from only 2000 (Though admittedly late 2000). This is one of those missions which feels so different to everything else around it, that it honestly is mindblowing.
Equilibrium is about 5 rogue keepers trying to ki...

Stronghold is a fun mission to talk about. It's not good, not by any stretch, but it's also not bad in the normal way. It's creative, it tries a lot of things (probably too many things), and honestly I can't help but feel it has a certain charm.
In this mission, you are stealing a sword. It's probably evil or something, and it's deep undergro...

This mission looks old. More accurately, it looks on about the same level as something like poor lord bafford, which released in the first couple of months of dromed being out. It is... certainly stylisticly challenged. Doors do not fit in their doorways, carpets are raised up off the floor, and generally effort was low. In short, this does not ...

The third and final installment of "the Docks" series. This mission is really more like 3 missions squished together, the first thirdbeing a hammerite church, and the final third is a secret mechanist base.
Those two sections, are creative, and do enough cool things to keep me entertained.
The middle of the mission is taken up with a short...

Nice mission, hoping you make some more stuff. not much roman inspired fms in thief i think. there were some rough edges to this mission, like some ambients changing abruptly, or the collision boxes on scaled objects not being changed to fit their new sizes, but nothing you can't improve if you know what you're doing

I like small Thief missions a lot, it's pretty exciting to explore what an author can do on a tiny scale.
What shines here is the overall quality in terms of texture work, though there are some strange choices here being made as well.
Another review has already mentioned the bug with the difficulty: regardless of which one you choose, the mi...

An enjoyable enough mission--sort of like a B-movie of fan missions. In fact, it's funny that I should write that, because this is in large part based on a movie, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. You get to experience many of the traps found in Indiana Jones movies, and there is a fun daytime atmosphere reminding me both of the Crusades and o...

The only redeeming quality of this mission is that it was at times a nice visual departure from the usual Victorian-esque Thief 2 missions which I like to play.
This mission is vast, quite on the larger side of Thief missions. You have free reign over several city blocks, a large sewer section, and several enterable buildings, all this in add...

I am a harsher reviewer than most people who play thief. I think that is obvious. While 1s are pretty rare from me, I use the entire scale where possible, and this does make those rare high marks actually mean something.
Even with that in mind, the fact that this mission has a 4 star rating is bizarre to me. It leaves me wondering if I am mis...

Playing "The Black Parade" has been an absolute delight.
The intricacy and brilliance of the level design within this Thief campaign are nothing short of extraordinary. Each environment, from the long-forgotten mortuaries to the labyrinthine mansions, embodies a level of intricacy that borders on the sublime.
The meticulously designed new ...

This is a short, boxy, mansion heist. It feels extremily basic at first glance, but it's gameplay, as is often the case, solid. Despite it's primitive design, it has some nice features, and some interesting things to find.
Apparantly this was a short test mission before the author moved on to larger projects. Tragically, these larger projects...

Bravo! I tip my hat to you gentlemen for producing one of the best thief campaigns I have ever played.
This has all of the professional feel & creative quality of the original thief games, with the added benefit of knowledge derived from decades of discussion & reflection on the original games. It invoked in me the same child-like feeling I f...

So much could be said about this FM.
The most concise praise I can give: it makes the vast majority of other FMs look like soulless pablum by comparison.
Much of the gameplay feels fresh and novel, despite never deviating from established Thief rules. It is always fair. There are no abstruse puzzles or micro-switches barring progression. S...
