Downtowne Funk,
Mission with a classic T1 OM feel to it.:
Downtowne Funk feels like a mission lost from the original campaign, then found twenty-five years later. One can easily imagine it being included in another Dark Project revision, say, Thief Gold v2.0, if such a thing could happen. And not only because the events of the mission take place a few days after the "Thieves' Guild", before "The Sword", and draw heavily upon details of "Assassins", but also because it takes and spruces up OM areas while being faithful to their aesthetics with most b...,

Calendra's Cistern (v2.0),
Still an ambitious mission. Even twenty years later.:
Having played the original version of Calendra's Cistern almost two decades ago, I had very vague memories of the mission. I remembered the annoying Brother Adrius body parts puzzle, the titular cistern and... that was pretty much it -- I forgot almost everything else. So playing this Newdark Update version was an essentially new experience for me. And it is honestly amazing how great this twenty-year-old mission holds up.
Many aspects of Calendra's Cistern you can't call anything but ambi...,

Heart And Soul,
Heart of mystery and Soul of a thriller:
Heart and Soul is another mission (the first one being the Gems of Provenance campaign, of course) by StinkyKitty where he successfully manages to weave a new narrative into the existing Thief timeline. It plays a What If scenario where a rogue mage has come into possession of a recently pawned Mystic's Soul and Heart artefacts stolen from the Bonehoard. As a mage enters Mystic's abandoned keep, Hammerites are afraid of him learning artefacts' dark secrets and threaten Garret to retrieve them...,

Recipe for Turmoil,
A bite-sized city exploration mission, yet as enjoyable as a bigger ones.:
Recipe For Turmoil is a bite-sized city exploration mission, but do not let it discourage you from playing, as it does everything bigger missions do and is just as good.
Built for the One Million Units contest, the mission makes smart use of limited space by circling its only street on itself and clever positioning of the landmarks. You'll get to explore the manor, some apartments, a shop, a Hammerite and clockwork towers -- all like in larger missions. Sure, none of them are big, but all ...,

Gems of Provenance Campaign,
This campaign is like a box chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.:
The variety of different visual styles in the Gems of Provenance campaign is really impressive. In just the first mission you'll get to visit the mountain outpost, pagan garden, deep caverns and catacombs, and the Maw Of Chaos inspired magical realm of Mysteria -- and it's only just the beginning.
It is all complimented by competently written notes and an ambient NPC dialogue lifted from both classic Thief games that almost seamlessly weaves the events of this custom campaign into the offi...,

Down in the Old Vault,
Bank heist mission with a prep work:
Down in the Old Vault is a bank heist mission, but the job won't be as easy as a simple break-in as you need to do some prep work first. You start by stealing the codes to disable the alarm, then vault access keys themselves and, finally, deposit box keys. If that sounds like hauling around a lot of keys -- then because it is, so the mission does the cool thing of putting them all on one keychain and, to help you keep track of which important keys you've collected, puts notes on them in your ...,

I've just noticed the comments.
@Aemanyl. Different people have different tastes for different things. One man's trash is another man's treasure, as they say.
@Mike. I do not mind your critique in the slightest. I find it only fair that when you talk on the internet, you can expect people to talk back. And that current victimhood culture of being offended at the silliest things can eat ass.,

Not your typical Thief mission:
( First things first. Unless you like playing with your game's gamma at the highest setting or have your monitor's brightness at maximum, I would suggest downloading a brighter version of this map. Otherwise, the mission is quite literally pitch black. There are no other differences between the two versions except the brightness.

A Night in Old Quarter,
A solid city exploration mission that does everything you expect it to do:
A Night in Old Quarter is a solid city exploration mission that does everything you expect it to do. It starts as Garret is again are short on cash, and has to venture to the Old Quarter for another artefact job to pay up his rent. Being a bit light on the story, the mission makes up for it with an engaging design. The city block is beautifully realised, and as Garret makes his way through the streets, there's plenty of opportunities for vertical exploration into those enticingly open windows...,

Project Hammer: Secret Connections:
Project Hammer: Secret Connections is a full remake of the first mission of the campaign of the same name from 2010. The author himself describes the original as "a really primitive", hence this overhaul. Which was completely rebuilt from scratch, with some newly added content.
The mission itself is a mansion heist and the estate, as well as its neighbouring garden, are all beautifully realised with some nice attention to detail. You can even peek through the gates and mansion's windows at...,

The Chalice of Souls:
Remakes of one's game map in another game's engine are always great fun. And then, of course, there's a case of demakes, when a newer game is recreated in an older engine. But can you really call it a demake when an older title is more engaging and offers more, and more interesting, gameplay opportunities than a newer one?
Anyways, The Chalice Of Souls is a reimagining of the House Of Blossoms mission from that confusing Thief 2014 reboot. And it is a blast. FM is actually a small campaign...,

The mission is certainly ambitious: custom intro and outro movies, lots of newly recorded dialogue, very well written documents, some nice puzzles.
It all takes place in the town of Blackwater, somewhere "on the outskirts of the City". The map is fairly large and during the course of the mission you'll get to explore the usual suspects of Hammer cathedral, a cemetery with haunted catacombs beneath it, a noble's mansion and the streets of the town itself. A simply great short, little mission. Morning Light is an imaginative, meticulously detailed adventure where every room simply drips with atmosphere. To say more would be to spoil it. Average haunted house type mission:
The Tomb Of Saint Tennor is a short, two-mission campaign with a mostly plain, boxy map design that is elevated by its haunted house type atmosphere. The first mission in an abandoned monastery is mostly linear, but the second puts you in catacombs and noticeably opens up. Sadly, overall the campaign feels quite average. What may look like another City exploration mission at the start, is actually much more interesting than that. There's an Undercity below the cobblestone, the City's dark underbelly built onto its foundations, where the poor, beggars, thieves and various ruffians live. And even deeper below that, in pitch-black darkness, an ancient pagan ruins. And yet somehow, after you explore all that, mission opens up even more.

A very well realised atmosphere of a neglected, shabby neighbourhood is what draws your attention right from the beginning of the mission. Mangy streets, rusty machinery and houses built on top of each over. Wires, catwalks, ducts and pipes connecting squalid buildings together. It's all very impressive looking.
