It's not too often that I venture outside of The City, but tonight's job was just too tempting of an opportunity to pass up. I received a lucrative offer to travel to the city of Bohn to steal a priceless topaz called the Lion's Fury. Sir Vasko, a local aristocrat, recently inherited the family heirloom.
Since acquiring the topaz his manor has been the target of multiple failed burglaries the past few months. Vasko became increasingly paranoid and decided to recruit the Mechanists to provide him with security. Not without consequence though, it's well known that the noble circles in Bohn loathe religious orders of any kind, so Vasko inviting them into their part of town hasn't earned him any favor among his inner circle. Despite being uncomfortable with the Mechanists I'm sure he sleeps easier knowing his possessions are safe… until now.
Tonight I'll make my way to a power station close to his manor with an access to the sewers. Due to the recent burglaries I expect his men to be on high alert, but they don't tend to venture much outside of his manor, so the courtyards and gardens should be safer to traverse.
Stealing the Lion's Fury will be no easy feat, but where others have failed, I will succeed.
