I appreciate your brevity on this matter and I agree with your assessment. The issue is that Thief Gold is the only version of Thief 1 that is readily available to people looking for it and it pretty prominently features Thieves' Guild. Pointing out that the mission is just SO BAD, isn't really beating a dead horse because the horse is still alive.

We gotta kill that fucken horse first.

You found all the loot? I'm stuck at just 100 below the total. None of the other items seemed all that hard to find so maybe there's just one incredibly difficult piece to find.
