"Reminiscences" is the perfect example of a campaign that's not leaning into it's strengths. The architecture and atmosphere is great, feeling suitably "Thief" with good use of ambiance. The author even added some nice additions like basic dynamic shadows for NPC's.

Time has not been kind to fan-missions from 1999. Sure, there are some good ones such as: "Autumn in Lampfire Hills" and "Bloodstone Prison", but this is also the year that gave us some of the worst of all time, such as "Koobze". I'm always amazed when a FM manages to make a big mansion that is huge, detailed and interesting! Whenever I play large missions, my biggest fear is that they'll feel empty. There's none of that here. I for sure share your thoughts on the design, nice review!

I'm tempted to agree with this being the best FM, the amount of polish in the design is unmatched in 99% of both fan and original missions. It's so replayable as well, it doesn't get boring to me.

Hi there, the two LGS Thief titles are like my comfort games, when I feel unmotivated or down I play a fan mission. I like to write reviews for missions I feel strongly about (either good or bad). I also backed up all the FM missions on "thiefmissions.com" onto Web Archive for safe keeping. And lastly I sometimes make videos showing how to beat a FM, but this I do rarely.

I love Thief Guild and It's easily the best way to find new FM's to play.

I've been playing through a lot of older missions recently from 1999 to the the early 2000's.
What I've noticed about that era is that there's usually a lot of ambition, but many fail to make their missions actually fun to play.
So with that In mind I was pleasantly surprised to find a fun burglary mission that's well designed and competent.

The fact that Garrett has no original lines and relies on spliced together ones from the main games in the third mission, whereas he was fully voice acted in the rest of the campaign further makes it feel separate from the other two.
