This is not a mission for casual Thief players, not for beginners, not for newbies. This one is HARD-CORE, both in terms of AI's overt awareness (I do believe it's cranked up harder than usual on Hard), and when it comes to progressing through the mission. The jumps, the ropes, the awareness to know where you should try going upwards, when to go...

A very competent City mission, albeit somewhat basic, in terms of look and story.

I think they say "piqued", at least I've seen it like that before. :D Yeah, basic but fine and competent City mission, recommended but nothing to write a book about. Good luck if you wish to pick this FM up. :)

That's basically the whole mission described in one sentence. It really is a freakin' mess, the layout of this mission. Kept going around too many times to be "my fault, skill issue".

So, when you finally get to where you're supposed to, and you can forget the stress of trying to find your way around the vertical maze, and the holy-fokin'-sh...

A two-part campaign, that certainly is of a two-part quality level, one great and one "meh".

Yeah, I haven't really got lost much, besides these several minutes inside the mansions, trying to figure out which stairs lead upwards/outside and which ones will lead me in circles where I had just been a moment ago. I'm a huge hater of labyrinthian stuff like The Lost City with non-functional maps and the like, and I really do consider this mission effective and complicated-looking when it comes to the visual layout, and not like The Lost City, it's quite simple and non-linear in practice....

I tried, friend! I really tried. I was expecting something truly bombastic, judging by the reviews. And then I went over to Vizir's, got the Iron Fascade, just laying around, with nothing challenging to it (like the whole mission)", and was like... time for the second half of the mission, the "twist", the better half where it all picks up, the reason why it's so beloved, time for something wild to happen!

Except... nothing ever happened. It was over, after 1:20h - just get down to the cave...
