Briefing

If you have followed my instructions, by the time you read this, you should be well
on your way to the Grieving Burrick Inn. Remember when that Thief Garrett stole the
scepter of fat Lord Bafford? Well I have a place for it in my circle, and I need you
to go get it for me.
Garrett peddled it off and it eventually came to the possession of a nobody merchant.
Now, there is going to be some type of scepter convension tomorrow. Some of the
attendees will be staying at the inn tonight. The man who has the Bafford stick will
be there. Grab it, and couple of other scepters to throw everyone off to your true
objective.
You might want to take a souvenier or to two for yourself while you are in there -
just remember the Bafford's scepter is mine. When you have the stick, meet the
courier by the fountain, he'll take it the rest of the way to me.

Oh, one last thing. Killing the power should make things easier, that is, if you like
things easy. I know it's been a while since you've done anything new, so good luck.
