I've been hired by Lord Rodney to break into Lord Dufford's castle and find out what happened to him.
Trying to go in the front entrance would be suicide, as there are two guards present, both armed with bows. Plus, if the information I got from some taffer is true, if the portcullis is closed, it's impossible to open from the outside.
Another way in is over the gate via a conveniently placed barrel where wine and ale are delivered to the castle, and since there's talk of a banquet at the castle this weekend, there should be plenty of alcohol flowing.
There's also the sewers, which lead under the castle. However, the hatch is locked and can only be opened by a switch in the sewer house.
Once inside, searching the rooms around the Banqueting Hall may bring me some rewards.
Another place I could search is the rooms around the Great Hall, but that part of the castle is locked, and hasn't been used since King Urgo The Vacant got locked in his castle three hundred years ago.
Once I've completed my objectives I can escape the castle via the wine gate, and head home to New Church.
