The Black Frog,
The Curse of the Switch Hunt:
I want to start off by saying how much I admire the work and dedication put into this. Not only is it incredibly creative, well fleshed out and features a number of interesting and innovative uses of the game assets, but the actual mansion heist is one of the best I've ever played. The atmosphere, architecture, and the way the story unfolds is fantastic, and classic Thief noir stuff. Starting off in a small town with a festival, there's a murder, mystery, twists and turns... All great stuff, ...,

Bad Debts,
Bad Debts, good level:
While initially confusing to navigate, the cityscape is excellent with all the little fun secrets and nooks full of loot that are reminiscent of Life of the Party.
The story has the classic Thief betrayal twist, which is practically mandatory in some missions.
My only complaint is that one of the objectives doesn't quite make it clear what you need to do, which can lead to a lot of running around, but it's really a very minor quibble in an otherwise great city level.,

Ravensreach will break you:
I want to start off by saying that this is an amazing fan mission. The atmosphere and level design are great, and the new enemies, while basically being reskins, are still incredibly well done. The first time you see one of those giant, pale-white, red-eyed, sharp-clawed yeti things, you will need a change of pants. And that's just getting things started.
Atmosphere is one of the most important things to get right for a good thief mission, and this one nails it with particular aplomb. The ...,

Short, but fun:
Great mission, fun premise, and well executed. It's short, which is a blessing when you need to hunt all over for specific artifacts, but experienced thief players shouldn't have a problem with it at all. It's simple, but good, and has a fun twist at the end.,

The Turning of the Leaves,
A little confusing to navigate, but very dark, very creative:
This mission is very much a dark and stormy night kind of game where you must outwit and evade the people who tried to kill you, then slowly gather your resources and explore the strange woods you are lost in. There's a creepy temple with a nearly invisible demon-ghost-thing that will utterly wreck your ****.
There's a gang of thieves you need to rob from, get your lockpicks back, take everything they've taken including things you've already taken, and then disappear into the damp night on...,

Heist at Hilbert's Highrise Hotel,
Atmospheric, but a bit of a slog:
I almost feel bad for not enjoying this mission, because it's bloody beautiful. I mean it, the architecture and atmosphere are phenomenal. The problem is this mission quickly becomes a slog of a key hunt. And there's platforming. The twist and the way it's executed when you think you're about to grab the McGuffin is really well done, but the rest of it is a lot of backtracking and retracing your steps, which wouldn't be so bad if it felt organic. But there are doors that will only open a crac...,

Sprawling Manor full of loot:
I just started re-playing the thief series after re-downloading it from Steam. I enjoyed the playthrough, but desperately wanted more. There's just nothing like that little serotonin boost from hearing that glittery sound when you pick up loot.
I generally prefer the missions where it's largely about sneaking through a big rich manor and nabbing shiny things, so this mission appealed to me. This is the fourth fan mission I've played and the best so far. Not just the intricate level design, ...,
