Beautiful FM:
Feels like a lot of FMs from the 2010s followed a more colorful design, maybe following Thief 3 a little with the window particles and the like. This one feels a little like Breaking the Stone, The Black Frog's first mission and the Rocksburg series.,

The Sword Of The Stones,
Crazy to see a historic FM being released live. No spoilers review::
Days after Sensut, the OG fan mission castle-builder, comes out of the woodworks to announce his retirement from FM making, this one comes out. It is in a very different style than the Dracula-themed tho, and I couldn't help but compare them with Mystic Gems 2: Heart of Bohn because of it's aesthetic on some parts, but mostly with Cosas Mission X and the second mission of the Scarlet Cascabel, specially because the greatest achievement of this mission is an incredible architecture with not a ...,

Project Hammer: Secret Connections,
Rewardingly difficult. What you need to know, if you're undecided::
The architecture is beautiful, and it's main weakness it's also it's main strength: it's very claustrophobic. You move, looking at it in restrospect, floor by floor going up, soaking through readables the story of the place and it's few characters, all while moving through very cramped, extremely lit and noisy small hallways. The optional objective of only blackjacking 2 people was not only extremely difficult, so much that I abandoned it not even halfway through. But it's very enticing, care...,

Almost there:
Everything in this mission seems great but like it needed a few minutes in the oven to come out great. There is a lack of sound ambience in the beautiful city, along with the light gem not really matching the shadows and illuminated areas you see on the ground.,

It good:
A funny mission, very playful with the player and the objectives, with an ugly exterior but a lovely mansion once you get inside.,

Legacy of Knoss,
Surprised about the other reviews here:
They are not negative at all, but for example it's very easy to get me overwhelmed with openness and a scale a notch too big. But none of that happened here. Same with shorcuts and alternate ways: sometimes they get so complicated that halfway I start regretting getting into some maze of ducts and start dredding the trek back, if I even decide to turn back around. None of that here. I don't know if it is mathematically, but it does not feel like an overarching city map like The Bracelet of Me...,

a friend of Lost Among The Forsaken:
I'm definitely more of the Metal Age / Victorian Era kinda player, but this one and LATF from the same contest should be played together for it's run down, stoney, maze-like alleyways. Amazing mission, regardless of the few criticisms that this one in particular got. No spoilers: Don't wander around at the beggining, try to tackle the objectives directly. You'll get the chance later on.,

It will remain on your memory:
I checked my files and it was literally a year ago that I played this FM for the first time, and not only I remembered lots of it (not usual) but it's also one of those FMs that works better for me in a replay rather than the first time I try them. Middle to little town map (compared to stuff like Being Thief 2 and Feast of Pilgrims) but very intrincate, with an excelent use of different parts of it in each mission, very similar to Seven Sisters in that regard. In the first mission you have ...,

Amazing routing:
It is a sign that skacky, IMO the master of this same medieval city style that has a lot of starting on the street, climbing the buildings through unexpected routes, says this is his favourite FM ever. I don't feel the same but it still managed to surprise me enough to leave this review for one simple reason: I've made a million jumps, rooftop crossing trying not to slip, and other acrobatics that feel almost like cheating the engine, when I realized after doing those that it was the intended...,

Calendra's Cistern,
A classic from a bygone era:
It's a hard thing to dislike the most famous FM ever made of Thief. I admit it was a shocking thing to see that you can sign the guest book of the party you're crashing, which sent me into a google deep dive between the FM author and Dishonored (he designed the Boyle party level too), but ultimately the mission feels very much like many of the OMs feel, in the worst way possible: gamey, contrived, too much like a videogame level. I'm 100% sure it's because the newer FMs have spoiled me like ...,

Simulation galore:
I adore big mansions or buildings realistically depicted. It is the pinnacle of the inmmersive sim that Thief helped popularize. The second mission is one of those incredibly detaliled spaces, this time a hotel; the kind of building that permeates other very well regarded FMs. This is one of them and, imo, it's the best FM for Thief Gold.,

My amazing intro into the Talbot series:
Spoiler free info for people interested:
You'll find a dark and contrasted city sprawl that threads the needle perfectly between making you feel like the title of the mission without you being absolutely lost. You're always sorrounded by tall and meanicing stone walls reminicent of a Thief 1 city, but one that has grown to use both electricity and in scale; you'll be looking up just as much as you'll be looking at front, and you'll be rewarded for it with alcoves, secret passages and high ...,
