There's nothing particular here to rant or rave about. The city is flat and uninteresting, not unlike the story. One plus: if you happen to alert a guard, you can hide your character in a corner and go walk the dog, mow the lawn, compose a light opera, etc., while you're waiting for the NPC(s) to settle down. Time-saver.

Buggy, overly-complicated, needlessly-obscure and just generally annoying. 8.4 stars is pure hype.

...particularly when it comes with good loot. And a nicely done city map with lots of challenging Thieves Highway time. I haven't finished it yet, but I can already recommend it.

The beginning is *very* frustrating: you are escaping from a latrine...you are weapon and tool-less...cover is slight and sporadic...the enemies are paranoid and have complicated, overlapping patrol routes. This mission quickly became familiar. I found it weird but forgettable (apparently) the first time around; this time I'll remember. The architecture and visuals are, frankly, crude. Name-dropped mathematicians do not a fan mission make. Overrated.
