This mission stands out in its aesthetics, providing a unique look inside a mansion influenced by the seas. This gives it a very different flavor compared to the ominous buildings from The City's classic era, or the exquisite estates from the richest of nobles.
This feels like a colonial style house (except with more floors). It involves a lot of wood. It features a few paintings containing scenery of seas, as well as Dutch landscapes/historical figures (awesome to see for a Dutch person). The house is surrounded by water, and it's raining. This - combined with the soundscape - makes for a thrillingly atmospheric mission. It is its strongest point and the primary reason you should play it.
I found the mission to be surprisingly easy, even simplistic. Guards are easy to take out, the house easier to navigate. Too easy, I'd say, for how long the mission ends up being. The mansion feels small due to this. The level never gets frustrating, but it never really takes off either. Yes, there's a cool endgame, but that plays on the strong atmosphere. The gameplay doesn't evolve in any way.
These aren't issues. It's just that reviews have given the impression of this mission being amazing. It's say it's "just" great. And "great" is enough, but worth mentioning for people expecting anything groundbreaking.
