Traversel doesn't flow well at times (lots of times where you have to go round a large part of the map to get to a nearby building), there's forced item progression (worse than a keyhunt, I actually like keyhunts) with a diary that only appears if you follow the author's very specific chain of events in his specific order, and there's just so little guards. I played for 1.30 hours and I don't think I ever really did much sneaking around. I didn't fully finish it, but I'd give it a 5 based on what I played.
I actually liked Being Thief 1 way better (review coming soon). It's so sad, I was really excited to play this mission :(
I do want to add some positives, because this mission isn't all bad. I noticed some really cool shortcuts. They were quite unexpected at times, which added to the surprise factor (which I love). They often didn't really help in traversing the city, but they were still neat. The visuals are great, especially inside the Mechanist HQ, which feels really oppressive (even though it's a huge building with about four individual rooms inside, no private office of some higher up, just generally lacking in substance).
