If get on the ship before cleaning the temple, you're stuck in the middle of the sea and you can't finish the mission. There's a note early in the mission, that warns about it. Interesting.
The mission is super-short, though, with quite decent game design for it's size (and era). That being said, not much to see here overall and it's skippable.
