I had a pretty fun time playing this mission. It has a few nods to old Thief-missions. The initial premise reminds me of "Ambush!" from Thief II and there are a few things that seems to be references to "Assasins" from Thief (the shop!).

It is a medium-sized city mission with little verticality (not much of a Thieves highway, even if you can ...

There's nothing particular here to rant or rave about. The city is flat and uninteresting, not unlike the story. One plus: if you happen to alert a guard, you can hide your character in a corner and go walk the dog, mow the lawn, compose a light opera, etc., while you're waiting for the NPC(s) to settle down. Time-saver.
