A true successor to The Sword. Has that great feeling of starting off normal and just getting deeper and deeper into the madness. And the great payoff of escaping it again (twice). Great horror and opulent and lavish beauty. Sound design is excellent. Really long and winding paths that aren't as linear as they first seem. However this complexity comes at the cost of a lot of collision problems and too random enemy behavior leading to a lot of reloads.
Has some great story elements that are worthy of the lynchian reputation this FM has. Story is told not in the reading of notes (there are some notes, but they are used for flavour and atmosphere, not exposition) but in room design and interactibles (the moment where you find out what the spyglasses are looking at being my favorite). I feel like there's a lot that I've missed and I definitely will revisit this mission at some point.
