Yes, I would recommend this mission, but with a walkthrough handy. If I can post links in a review, here is one:

(You will have to click "level design" and then the link for Thief:Dark Project and Thief 2, and then the Shunned mission and then the walkthrough link, since the web page all operates under the home header.)
It's the author's page and still loads in 2025. He did a lot of neat effects and thoughtful things that make this a cool mission, but as the title of my review reflects, there is only 100 gold in the entire, very short mission. Otherwise, you are looking for two items that require two keys. The issue I ran into, and why I recommend the walkthrough, is that you have to understand what the author was thinking. There are some gotchas that can't be predicted, but it was often done in such a fun way, I didn't care. But even the naming of keys was confusing. The "safe" key goes to a false wall, which I would call a secret. Apparently, it was the safe.
You can easily fall to your death a few times, get attacked by inanimate things, and generally get stuck with very few options, forcing you to the aforementioned walkthrough. It's not a bad mission, but for its size, I felt I couldn't get into the head of the designer as much as they thought I would be able to.
The ambiance is great, but less horror and more psychedelic. It makes me think of Walter from Fringe, if you know the reference. While it didn't feel like proper Thief, at least it was completeable and interesting in places. This mission is a museum of weird things to try that don't fit in an actual fan mission, but together they all weirdly work together here for a short time. Kudos on the mission being small, as I think it suits the theme and purpose well.
