Yes, this mission could use some polishing. Since that isn't likely, it's a highly playable Thief 1 mission that still stands up well today. It's large (possibly a little too large) and fun with a few challenges.
There are few places with multiple guards in bright light, but, the author gives gas arrows, mines, lots of health, etc. There are also ways to bypass the high traffic areas.
There are some pretty big bugs. The biggest being that you can mantle outside of the game world, and in one place, I found it landed me in a playable area that had no way out. It was designed so you could see the area past a gate, but unfortunately, I found my way in there and had to restart the mission. This is WAY too big of a mission to be restarting!
There were some brush errors, a few item misalignments, backwards scrolls, flames not attached to candles, etc. All is forgiveable save the ability to lock yourself out of the mission mentioned above.
This mission would easily be a 10 if the author had focused less on size (trying to build tunnel mazes and water mazes, and hall mazes) and instead polished up a bit of the fantastic mission already created. As is, I can still highly recommend as a solid 7. There is some Thiefy goodness here!
