There are parts of this mission that feel simple and underdeveloped, and other parts that feel really well thought out and entertaining. At times, I thought 'this will be a 2 or 3' and other times it felt like a 5 or 6. And this sneaky swaying of quality caused me to drop my guard and not give it the full attention it deserved. I generally find most, if not all, loot. I missed 600 on my expert playthrough. This was most likely because I wasn't giving the author credit based on some poor design decisions.
While the detail and atmosphere might be hit and miss, the logic of the mission is quite good. One thing I'm not a fan of is when authors break the 4th wall in the mission. Right at the beginning of this level, there is a frobbable plaque that will give the author's name and the date the mission was built. That is what the readme is for, IMHO. I would suggest other ways of including that data, like in the story.
The author also used some pitch black areas (no ambient lighting), and that is a massive knock in my opinion. There were some decent-sized chunks of the mission with 0 visibility.
Oh, and as for bugs, there is a transparent 'ghost' that counts as a human kill. I'm assuming this was a mistake since he went to trouble of making him look like a ghost in the haunted section, but then "game over" as soon as I got a little stabby with him.
