First thing that I want to say that : I clearly remember that 3 years ago I could not finish this FM in , but I didn't remember exactly what was the main reason, I thought maybe it was hard so I gave second try.
A quik remark : I'm huge fan of Bathory Campaign and Nosferatu, I like the ambient and the historical background and the time era , when I played these 2 campaigns I had a strong sense that the author was like physically in these castles, maybe he was on excursions in Romania and Hungary and he was inspired by interior and exterior because you could feel the astonishing detailing of all the locations if you weren't there in real life , it's hard to recreate it with such detailing
And with such thoughts I thought that Dracula would be about the same fm.
In the beginning it seemed so : historical background, music, real countries, historical notes and myths - all this things prepares you for some historical novel where you are the main character.
Well, the first mission is over, you dragged the body at reduced speed for 10 minutes from the end to the start of the map, and the 1 chapter took you probably about 1,5-2 hours and I didn't feel satisfied with this experience
So, the second mission begins and like the first, the game starts well, you read the notes and think that now interesting gameplay will definitely begin, but as a result again the same formula: the dead / unconscious body need to be dragged the entire map on poorly filled location with reduce speed (which consumes a lot of time again) and you need to do senseless tasks which don't make absolutely sense and it all seems like just time stretching.
While I was playing this fm I couldn't get rid of the feeling that this project is more like a demo mode or a raw version of Bathory campaign but for some reason it was released as a standalone fm.
