Yeah this is a dilemma I try to personally circumvent by basically giving all demos a "5" regardless of how impressive or unimpressive they might seem. Maybe we shouldn't be able to rate demos at all on TG? I'd wager that a lot of demos have a pretty wide spread of rating since some people want to slam down a "1" for a poorly made mission and others look behind the curtain and give it a 7 or 8 for the ingenuity of the technique that is shown.

I agree. I really struggled with Christines FMs in the past. The ridiculous loot goals, always the same look to each mission, the overabundance of food items and other custom items that in my opinion often are immersion breaking and lastly the very stretched feeling maps with lots of walking. Pirate Ahoy also has these issues but it's a short campaign and the fresh themes make it much more bearable.

You are probably right and after a bit of distance from this one I think I'll bump it up to an average mission (I also noticed that my ratings by category should be an overall 5 not a 4, so the bump up is definitely appropriate).
In essence this is a very creative set of missions I just found the execution subpar and would have rated it higher if it had been more enjoyable to play. The annoyances I mentioned above lead to me getting more frustrated by the minute...

This FM has no worse rating than a 6 from a dozen people as of now (apart from my own rating) and I just don't get the appeal. This to me feels like a totally bizarre, poorly made small campaign of 5 missions with no real appeal whatsoever.

Basically everything that in my mind is a bad things in FMs appears here: Lots and lots of marble or me...

This is a nice attempt at a revamped training mission very strongly based off of the one from Thief 1.

Especially the areas in the beginning are quite pleasant to look at and could have stemmed from that original Training mission but the further you get along the more the style of the surroundings degrades and becomes boring, mundane and empt...

This and all the subsequent "The Library" FM's are clearly in an unfinished state.

In terms of design and details of the mission this one has a leg up over the other Library FM's but it's still not great. Some areas look quite alright but the ambitions of the author ran wild as it seems and every room, hallway and street is far too long and ...

The missions starts of on a good note since it looks really beautiful and has an extremely varied and big city to explore. It's a bit flat and not very vertical but still a pretty mission with lots to discover.

I'd pursue your idea with the changes appearing in the notes. There are sometimes multiple entries for T1 or T2 FMs as well but these are often different releases and not updates (e.g. the Scarlet Cascabel).

Having a kind of changelog in the notes sounds perfect to me and circumvents any confusion

Hello,

some FMs don't have a download link which is why I didn't pursue those any further but now stumbled upon "The Secret Way" for T1 which is supposed to be pretty good. That's why I googled for another download link for the FM since thiefguild only has the "theBoycot" link mentioned of which none is working for me. Anyway turns out the FM...
