There are some fundamentals at work that some early missions are lacking, but these are tacked onto a nightmare of a mission (and not the good kind).
To just name a few issues:
Very cramped spaces with steps that have to be mantled and doorways to get stuck in.
floating water cube.
misaligned textures and gaps in walls that obviously weren't intended.
Hideous texture used predominantly that wasn't meant to be used and doesn't have an HD replacement from the HD mods.
doors that open into each other blocking access.
lockpick animation not working on many chests.
doors that open to brick walls.
low hanging metal lights so you blackjack them instead of the NPC alerting the entire level of your intentions.
banner placed on the ground for no reason.
Mission title in mission still say's "Thieve's Guild".
NPCs placed under bright lights preventing any opportunity to ghost.
The store loadout has 2 gas arrows for sale, but you are only given 450 loot to spend... they cost 500. And, this isn't a case of the author just including everything. There were only 5 items for sale so those were picked on purpose.
There was a cathedral built for 2. That's it. And the 2 people it was built for would have to be hobbits to fit in there. The scale was very bad.
To list the good in the mission there are 2 things:
1. There was a fair amount of knowledge shown in the use of sound, secrets, switches, etc.
2. It was a short mission and is now over.
