It's 25 years after The Dark Project was released and we have new FM makers still coming into the scene. And what an entrance! The other reviewers said it well enough - this is a Keeper centered mission that deserves your attention. Without any further spoilers this is a throwback to the very beginning and I must say, for me, it was a surprise h...

A really great mission, much better than Volta I. It's kind of a mixture of Lost City and Maw of Chaos, and perfectly managed to capture the atmosphere of both. I can only recommend.

A good old manor heist, everything is as you would expect. The main objective is mildly difficult as you need to find some fairly well hidden things, but you can easily piece it together. I felt the guards were predictable and a bit easy even on Expert. The problem is the sound, it was acting really weird for me, in some areas I always hear doub...

I liked Purah's previous FMs "Calendra's Cistern" and "Autumn in Lampfire Hills". However, I just can't seem to enjoy myself In Calendra's Legacy.
The campaign starts fairly strong with "A Meeting With Basso".
Here you are given free reign to explore the town of Lampfire Hill, It is quite fun and It's a gorgeous mission as well.
One nota...

Towers of Twilight is extremely large mission where we again greeted by some obscure Mage order - but this time it's not Brotherhood of the Hand but Brotherhood of the Eye - which is operating in what seems to be mountainous/cavernous area full of ancient ruins and tombs. Some olde magicka is attached. Our goal is to find old book and some magic...

Wisely simple, well designed and fun.
This mission doesn't try to change the world and the author has admittedly kept the scope low for their debut - which I'm really glad for! I really hope the author will have the chance to create other maps, and perhaps experiment a bit more with different themes. Either way, I've enjoyed this one quite a lot!

I decided to try T1 FMs as well as T2 ones after seeing Endless Rain. I looked for highest ratings for these and that is how I arrived at Alcazar. I was actually able to finish this one without any hints. which is rare so far. But the first time I tried I thought it looked weird, too claustrophobic and I couldn't get too far. I was not familiar ...

I was only playing T2 mission up until I saw some screenshots and a video of this one. Skacky has created or participated in some of the best Thief projects, including The Dark Parade and Into The Odd, to which this missions connects if you read the readables.
I'm big on atmosphere and the way the rain is portrayed here just makes me want to ...

I've been a major, major Thief fan for nearly 20 years. Ever since a friend sat me down with Deadly Shadows and introduced me to how sublime and atmospheric the stealth genre could be, I've been a devotee of sneak-em-up immersive sims and never looked back. I've played all the games multiple times, a ton of The Dark Mod, and even cast & directed...

I feel like I got pranked.
Like, this mission is not very good. I can't tell if navigating the city was supposed to be more difficult or if was just meant to simply give off the impression of a labyrinth. The house (?) that you end up robbing is a big, bizarre, and ugly mess.
But... I think that's the point?
Outside of its weird layout,...

I played this only recently and yes I did finish it. This is sort of the smaller sister of Calendra's Legacy. One of the first FMs that took a whole team to complete. And it shows. It contains some of the most hilarious dialog I've heard and plot twists that will twist you head. A lot of scripting went into this one. Still, I can't rate it hones...

"Underground" must be the word of the year so far for FMs, as it's been the feature of so many of them.
This particular one gets you around two main locations - a big hidden Hammer factory and a portion of an underground city/necropolis. The latter one is the clear winner for me, featuring some nice big spaces and interesting options of movin...

When I saw the four or so pages of maps, I thought I was in for some painful disorientation but, surprisingly, I only got lost once, and it was in the unmapped area. The factory area is probably too large, but its layout is fairly easy to understand once you realize all levels are arranged around the central Reactor (the maps do not make that ve...
