I got an interesting job offer from an old acquaintance of mine, who struck it rich, and fancies himself an art collector. Seems he wants me to acquire a masterpiece by the famous painter Mircea, currently owned by some minor noble downtown. That house is currently barricaded off by the city watch under suspicion of plague, doubless another one of the chef's extortion rackets, which would make the job tricky enough on its own, but it gets even more complicated. Tricky enough on its own, but it gets even more complicated.
Word on the street is that a gang of small time thieves has snuck in under the watch's noses and are quietly boxing up everything in there worth taking. I better hurry and hope that the painting is still there. So the plan is simple, dodge the watch, dodge the new occupants, pinch the Mircea painting before anyone realizes its value, and get back to collect a well-earned reward.
My best bet will be to sneak into the wine cellar through the sewers. Best not dawdle, it's time to begin.
