Briefing

Sometimes, an opportunity just falls into your lap. Chancey, a former associate of yours, has a hot tip for you, in exchange for a small cut of the action. Specifically, he looking to get a ring for his girl, Sylvia.

The Fool's Journey is a profitable casino and 'social club' in Sunnyfair. Time to break the bank at the casino. Although you are not the sentimental type, you DO owe Chancey a big favor, so pick up a nice ring for Sylvia.

Any altercations tonight might reflect badly on Chancey and Sylvia. It would be best to not kill anyone, or let anyone sound the alarm. In fact, not being seen at all might be an even better plan.

At its best, this mission is a fairly competent but unremarkable map. At its worst, it is a frustrating, inconsistent, unrewarding slog. The latter is increasingly more common than the former the further you get. Give this mission a miss.

Due to the challenge of building this mission quickly, I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was but Balboa has excelled.

As others have said, the puzzles are challenging but not overly so.

Not a big mission but what is in it is very well done with a few unexpected occurrences.

On a technical level, this is the cream of the crop out of the event submissions. I was a little saddened that I couldn't find the right token for the slot machine, even tried to knock everyone out in the pit before they could raise the alarm to have a more thorough look around, but Balboa thought of that (taffer)!

Really fun mission that has a lot to offer!
It is unpredictable for the most part and offers puzzles
that are fair and respect the players intelligence.
The only downside for me comes from certain
Items being somewhat hard to spot, leading to frustration.
Good Job!

First of all, bravo to all the authors of these fabulous entries for this contest. You've all done very well so far. Second of all, damn is this a good mission. It's challenging, fun, and everything that makes a well-done mission. I'd love to see more like this.
